Privasec is proud to announce that Chief Growth Officer Shamane Tan was named one of the Top 30 Women in Security ASEAN Region awards 2021 last month.
Organised by MySecurity Marketplace and the Women in Security & Resilience Alliance (WISECRA), the Top 30 Women in Security ASEAN Region 2021 awards has been established to recognise women who have advanced the security industry within the 10 countries of the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN).
Currently residing in Australia, Shamane is thankful to be able to stay connected with her roots in Singapore through her responsibilities in Asia-Pacific at Privasec while also remaining active through the Cyber Risk Meetup community.
In a LinkedIn post, Shamane expressed her thoughts on receiving the award: “It was incredibly meaningful because of different individual stories the women had to tell… I appreciate the support of the judges, organisers, partners, especially our male allies, fellow winners and nominees. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
