We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our sales development team. Ideal candidates should be eager to build a career and advance within Privasec. As a Business Development Representative you will exclusively map to the Sales Manager and will eventually support 3-4 members of the sales team. You will be tasked with strategically developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within your assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Generate net new business opportunities
- Create and prioritise strategic target account lists
- Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers; reflecting the care they will receive after being handed off
- Research and build “cold accounts” (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling, prospecting)
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to support the customer through their discovery and buying process
- Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
- Partner with our experienced team to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills
Required Skills:
- Previous prospecting, cold calling, business sales experience is a plus
- Excellent Written/Verbal communication skills – Can you take the customer on a journey and tell a story about our solutions?
- Motivated, proactive and dynamic sales approach
- A drive for results
- Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
