Privasec is delighted to be shortlisted by the Australian Defence Industry Awards 2021 in the Cyber Business of the Year category. To add to the honour, Privasec’s Chief Growth Officer Shamane Tan has also been named as a finalist in the Marketing/Communications Professional of the Year category.
In a media kit issued to all finalists, the organisers of #ADIA21 stated that they acknowledge the dedication of the individuals, organisations and businesses that triumphed through the unique challenges and obstacles of the difficult year at this year’s awards ceremony.
Alongside Privasec, finalists comprising defence professionals, organisations, and businesses across over 33 categories were announced on Monday, 30 August 2021.
In a congratulatory note, Defence Connect Director William Magee shared that “The sheer number of submissions, plus the ongoing and continued support of our of partners and judges, provides a great level of confidence for Australia’s defence industry and is representative of the depth of talent we have in our sector – I would like to thank all of those who nominated and each entrant for their submissions, and I wish everyone the best of luck on the night.”
The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala event hosted in Canberra on Tuesday, 7 December 2021.
