Privasec, a leading cybersecurity provider of Governance, Risk Management, Compliance and Penetration Testing services, announced today the appointment of Hector Damian in the position of Principal Consultant, spearheading the Victorian office.
Privasec was created by a team of industry veterans after Telstra acquired Bridge Point Communications in late 2014, and quickly established itself as a provider of premium specialised cybersecurity services to enterprises and local/state governments.
Damian, an industry specialist with over 15 years’ experience in information security, has held senior roles with Trustwave as a Managing Consultant and at IBM where he led enterprise security services delivery in Banking and Finance, E-Commerce, Airlines and Retail across 3 continents.
Privasec had been looking for Principal Consultant in Melbourne for several months before appointing Hector. “Privasec was founded by practitioners for practitioners and therefore upholds very high standards of service. Hector is responsible for growing the Victorian business whilst upkeeping these high standards of quality and care which Privasec is now known for” says Romain Rallu, Managing Consultant at Privasec.
